factory複數

factories是factory 的複數。名詞有單數和複數兩種，以輔音字母+ y結尾的名詞，變成複數的時候要改y爲i再加es. 因爲factory是以輔音字母y結尾的名詞，根據這個規則，factory的複數是factories。

2、集體名詞，以單數形式出現，但實爲複數。

3、例如：people,police,cattle 等本身就是複數，不能說 a people，a police，a cattle，但可以說a person，a policeman，a herd of cattle.以s結尾，仍爲單數的名詞，例如：maths，politics，physics等學科名詞，一般是不可數名詞，爲單數。
